Springtime Yardwork

Chicago had some record breaking numbers for winter in 2013-2014. The weather is finally starting to warm up into the 70's so I decided it was time to get outside and do some yard work. Savannah missed the opportunity to jump in leaves last year. She insisted upon playing in the leaves before I burned them all.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we attended the wards Easter Egg Hunt. We listened to stories about Jesus, enjoyed an object lesson which involved eggs, and played Easter games in the gym. Afterwards we headed outside for the Easter Egg hunt. Savannah's age group had to collect all the yellow eggs. She had filled her basket full of candy with her friend Kayla. The kids opened up their candy filled eggs and enjoyed PB&J sandwiches, pretzels and gogurt.  We all had a great time and the weather was nice!!

Spring Time

Today we spent the day relaxing outside. We made a trip to the park and Hunter has his first experience playing in sand and swinging on the baby swings. Savannah had a great time building sand castles and playing at the park. She gets the biggest smile on her face when she gets to go to the park. Love this little guys!

One sweet baby boy

 Hunter recently came down sick again with bronchitis and an ear infection. Poor little guy has been so sick for the past few months. We had to postpone his 9 month wellness check up for another two weeks. Hunter weighs 16 lbs 14 oz. He is rolling all over the place and is grabbing onto everything in sight and putting it into his mouth. He babbles all the time and sits up really well on his own. He only likes to sit in his bouncer for short periods of time. He has started to try to get up on his knees. He has been introduced to meat baby foods. He is currently cutting four teeth all at the same time. The two canine teeth on top and the two bottom teeth in the middle. Needless to say he hasn't been sleeping very well with teething and being sick all at the same time. We love this little guy!!
