Christmas 2014

We headed down to Tennessee for the holidays. We left on Friday night and drove thru the night. We arrived early the next morning at Grandma's house. It was a bit stressful with all the little kids and all 16 people living under the same roof. The plans to stay the night in two separate homes fell through. We did have a great time! We went Christmas shopping, played games, roller skating, ice skating at the Bristol Speedway, sliding down the Chill Hill, watched the Christmas displays and lights, movies, Leah's baptism, gourmet cupcakes, manicures/pedicures.

Halloween Festivites

For family home evening we carved one large pumpkin together. We had a great time! Savannah actually joined in this year with cleaning out the pumpkin guts.
Savannah drew up the design and Daddy carved out the pumpkin.

The day of Halloween mom had to work the entire day. The babysitter took Hunter around the neighborhood for trick of treating. They visited safety town and walked back. In the morning it snowed for a few minutes pretty hard. The snow didn't stick around very long. The weather was bitter cold all day long. Savannah only had a half day of school. Daddy picked up her up from Kindergarten. He took her around the neighborhood and when I came home we went for round #2. It was so cold that I brought the kids back home after walking on foot. I took Savannah back out in the car. We stayed warmer however it was hard to get in and out of the vehicle for little Savannah.
She made out with a large stash of candy.

This year we went to Randy's Pumpkin Farm as a family. We were excited to have daddy join us. The kids had a good time. Savannah was really enjoying riding all the carnival rides. She loves this time of year!!
