Ten for Tuesday

1. Frank's car needed some more mechanical work done. The rack broke on the car and apparently a gasket broke and the power steering fluid all leaked out. It was going to be another $1000 to fix the car. Ouch!

2. Continuing to get used to the new dialer system at work. I feel like our customers are not taking too well to all the collection calls they are receiving. I'm getting yelled at more than usual. It is really beginning to be draining on me. I hope things get better soon and that we can work out all the little khinks. It is totally different talking to customers from California to NY. People do seem to talk differently all over the country.

3. Frank has been very busy at work while getting ready for their year end event and is in workaholic mode lately. I hope he will be able to get through this week.

4. On Friday night Frank and I went out to eat at a new Italian restaurant. It was good food and great atmosphere. We met the owner of the restaurant and his family. I tried some new foods and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

5. I worked overtime on Saturday morning and than went to a scrapbooking event all day long. I managed to scrapbook 11 more pages and enjoyed being around people from work.

6. Frank taught Elder's Quorum during the 3rd hour block. We spent the rest of the day just relaxing after church. They released our 2nd counsler in the bishopric and called someone new. It came as a shock to everyone in the ward.

7. I passed my glucose screening test at the doctor's office and the baby is continuing to grow bigger everyday. I get to look forward to having my rogam shot next month.

8. The weather has started to cool down a little bit. We have had a break from all the snow which has been nice. We did however get some flurries today.

9. I've started putting together my baby shower list and hope to start up a baby gift registry soon.

10. I can't believe it almost the end of January. I'm looking forward to filing my income tax refund.

Ten for Tuesday

1. On Friday night Frank went to pick up the kids. I drove home to meet a couple of Sarah's friends at the house for a surprise sleepover. She was totally surprised and excited to finally be able to spend time with her friends. Sarah offically turned 14 years old and is growing up so fast.

2. The girls stayed up late that night and camped out in the living room. The girls stayed up all night long. The next day I ran a couple of errands with Sarah and her friend Briahnna. I had a ton of things to do on my list and not much time to do it all in.

3. Sabrina and the kids showed up earlier than expected and I had to rush home from the grocery store. I came home and setup for the party. I made my homemade salsa and finished wrapping presents. I needed to wrap some Christmas gifts for Sabrina and the kids.

4. The party was a great success and everyone had a great time! Sarah and Frankie both opened up gifts they received from their grandparents.

5. Afterwards the kids had an activity at the stake center. It was a kickoff for the New Year. Apparently they had a nice dinner and each ward will be learning a new dance for youth conference this year. This will be Sarah's first year at youth conference. She will be attending her first church dance on Valentine's day.

6. I had my doctor's appointment and was surprised when my husband showed up. He was supposed to have been on an appointment but apparently it ended early. They did my glucose screening test and I will get the results back tomorrow. Next month I get to look forward to getting my rogam shot.

7. The kids stayed an extra day with us because of the Martin Luther King day.

8. Frank picked up the kids for Tuesday night activity last night. They had a great time visiting with their friends.

9. At work we recently started a new dialer system. We had training on Monday and I had to work overtime. We were allowed to go home early because we were done early with our work.

10. I switched over to a new desk at work. This was my 6th move since I have work for Honda. The managers were making some changes around the office before they implemented the new dialer system.

Sarah's 14th Birthday Party

Sarah just turned 14 years old this week. Frank went to pick up the kids and on Friday night we surprised her with a sleepover. We invited a few of her friends over for a surprise party. The next day we had some family come over for cake and ice cream. She had a great time hanging out with friends and family. It took me back to the good old days when I was her age and could just have fun and be carefree.

Ten for Tuesday

1. I started feeling sick again suffering from an earache and a sore throat. I went back to the doctor and he prescribed me some more antibiotics. He told me that sometimes you just need a double dose of medicine to wipe out the infection. I have started to feel better however I'm still experiencing an occasional coughing spell. I hope I can get back to normal soon.

2. The Chicago Temple had a water main break and it caused a lot of water damage inside the temple. The temple will be shut down until March.

3. Frank went to the hospital for a csat scan and will have an MRI done tomorrow. He has a foot that keeps swelling up and some occasional pains in his stomach. The doctor found an irregularty on his pancreas however it may be nothing...The doctor is ordering more tests just in case. They haven't found anything yet.

4. We recently have been hit with a few snow showers and an artic blast is currently blowing through Chicago. It's suppose to be a high of 0 on Thursday. I hope it warms up soon.

5. On Friday night Frank and I drove up to Wisconsin to go to a farewell party for our friend Jac before he leaves for Afghanistan.

6. On Saturday I had to go into work for some overtime and than I stopped off at the mall for a little shopping. I stopped by the jewerly store and had the scratch in my wedding ring buffed out from my fall.

7. I went out to lunch with my friend Wendy to Chili's and than we came back to the house to watch a few movies. We rented Mama Mia and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Part 2.

8. Wendy and I went over to Lena's house for some scrapbooking.

9. On Sunday after church we went over to my friend's house for dinner. We played games and visited with each other. We had a great time!

10. Yesterday I was cooking dinner and apparently I turned on the wrong burner and I had placed a glass casserole dish on the heated burner without knowing it. The next thing I knew I heard this loud boom and I looked over at the stove and I noticed glass everywhere. I was shocked and a little shaken up. I called my husband for comfort and he came home from work to help me clean up the kitchen. I was very fortunate that I wasn't injured seeing how I was standing right next to the stove.

Ten for Tuesday

1. I came down ill with an upper respitory infection and had to call in sick to work on Monday and Tuesday. I went to the doctor on Monday and he prescribed me some antibiotics.

2. I managed to get back to work on Wednesday for a half day. We got to leave at 1pm due to the fact that it was New Year's Eve. I wanted to make it into work so that I could get paid for the holiday on Thursday.

3. On New Year's Eve our plans were cancelled last minute due to Frank's brother in law Tim being hit in the eye with a stick. He needed time to recover from his injury. Frank and I just spent a quiet evening at home and invited a couple of friends to watch the Dick Clark's New Year's Eve special on TV. I was starting to fall asleep early.

4. I slept in the following morning until noon and than I went shopping at the mall. I had some Christmas money that I was looking forward to spending. I purchased a new purse. I was having trouble finding other items on my Christmas list so I just left. I was getting tired fast and needed to get off my feet.

5. On Thursday evening Frank had his annual planning session for his WFG team. We had a potluck dinner and about 15 people squeezed into our 2 bedroom condo. It was a tight fit although it was still fun to visit with people.

6. I purchased a food processor and I attempted to make some homemade salsa. It turned out pretty good although I'm still trying to perfect the recipe. It's much harder trying to do it without a recipe.

7. On Saturday night we invited a few friends over for 3 card poker night. We had a great time!

8. My belly must of grown over Christmas vacatio because everywhere I go now everyone kepts staring at my belly. I guess I'm offically starting to show and now everyone is making comments about how big I am. I feel as if I'm being stretched out all over. My back muscles have begun to feel really tight this week. Everyone wants to feel the baby. I forgot to mentioned that Frank, Jenny, and Barbara felt their newest family member kicking.

9. on Sunday Frank and I were both released from our Primary calling. We served faithfully for 2 1/2 years teaching the 9 years old class. We loved all of our classes over the years. We were sad to leave Primary. The bishopric told us they have something else in the works for us. Frank and I taught the 11/12 year old girls class one last time.

10. I looked forward to watching all the season premieres on TV this week.
