Santa Claus has finally arrived bearing gifts

The end to a great day. We headed over to Auntie Denise's house for Christmas Dinner and a gift exchange. Savannah, Mommy and Hunter all came down ill with a nasty viral infection.

Christmas Eve

We all went to the movies in two separate groups. Savannah and I went to see the movie Frozen. Frank and the teenagers went to see the Hobbit. Afterwards we came home and made Christmas cookies. Which didn't turn out how I had intended them to turn out. We ended the night by reading the Christmas story and waited for the arrival of Santa Claus.

Every night before Christmas comes we light candles in remembrance of the baby Jesus. We have to say at least one thing that we did that day to help serve others or show an act of kindness. It's a good way to always keep the Lord in our thoughts, hearts and mind.

Savannah was so excited for the arrival of Santa. She had no problems going to sleep that night.

Anticipation

Hunter just turned 6 months old and has no idea what is going on.

Best Christmas EVER!!

Gingerbread House Making

This year mom picked out the gingerbread house decorating kit. We had a great time getting to do it together. Mom assembled the house and Savannah finished it off by decorating it. The house turned out much better than last year. The house didn't break and the candies were yummy. We did run out of frosting but overall it was a success!

The Day After Thanksgiving

The day of Thanksgiving Hunter was the happiest baby in the world. Unfortunately when we came home that night we were woken up by this little guy around 2:30 am. Hunter was throwing up over and over again and refusing to drink anything. After about an hour Frank sent me off to the ER to help some help. This poor little guy came down with a nasty viral infection. Savannah was sick the week before and must have passed it along. The doctor gave us some anti nauseous medication and than after about an hour he finally drank down a bottle of pedialyte. The doctor's were concerned about him getting dehydrated. They finally released us back home. We had to visit the pediatrician the very next day. Unfortunately we all came down sick the rest of the week.

Hunter's 1st Thanksgiving

This year we had to get an early start. We headed over Auntie Denise's house. We were helping with the dinner and spent the entire day helping her cook. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast! The best dinner I have ever had before. We were so happy to see family and everyone had an opportunity to visit with baby Hunter.

Happy Halloween

Hunter 4 months old

Hunter's 1st Halloween. It was a 100% chance of rain so he stayed behind with our friend to greet all the trick or treaters.

Savannah and Tommy forged on in the rain and had an umbrella's in hand

Savannah really enjoys trick or treating

Savannah thought this house was very spooky. This house is huge and the decorations were AMAZING!!

Up Close and Personal

Despite all the rain and being soaked we made the most of it and had a good time together
