Kohl's Children Museum

Today we headed over to the Kohl's Children Museum. This was the first time visiting for me and my parents. Savannah had been there once before with the babysitter. The museum was very nice and had lots to see and do for kids. It was a hands on museum for kids between the ages of 2-5 years old.  We could barely keep track of Savannah. She was running around the exhibits so fast that we nearly lost her. She was being difficult to leave the house this morning but as soon as we arrive she had a blast. We stayed a few hours and than went out to lunch to a Chinese buffet. We didn't get to see quite everything but we all had fun. We were all exhausted by the time we left.
Good memories!!

Thanksgiving Day

This year my parents came up a for a week long visit to see our new house and to have Thanksgiving dinner. Frank worked late Wednesday night and after he came home he stayed up all night baking pies and getting all prepped to cook our Thanksgiving feast. Needless to say he only received about two hours of sleep. He cooked all day long and we ended up having way too much food. We had a great day cooking together and the meal turned out awesome! I attempted to make deviled eggs which ended up being a nightmare. I overcooked the the eggs and couldn't peel off the shell so I ended up just making egg salad. Lesson learned - don't overcook the eggs.
