Ten for Tuesday

1. Frankie was home all week on spring break. He helped Savannah for me and than on Friday afternoon Lara arrived in town. She had rented a car and met up with Frank to go bike riding. It was some good exercise for both of them.

2. Afterwards Lara came back to the house an reliefed Frankie from babysitting so he could outside and play with a friend. I had to pick up Sarah after work and arrived home around 7pm. We spent the evening just reconnecting. Sarah wanted to go over to a church party so we dropped her off. She came home around midnight.

3. On Saturday we were crazy busy. I noticed on Friday night that my car wasn't acting right so I drove it into the shop and found out that my transmission is going bad. I'm still looking into fixing the vehicle. The car isn't that old and I really can't afford the repair costs. I'm not sure what to do now. I was just starting to get ahead and now this!!!

4. Lara and I had a day at the spa planned. We headed over to Spableu and I had my nails done and a facial. Lara got a haircut a facial and an eyebrow wax. Frankie ended up going over to a friends house to play. We had to come back to drive Sarah over to a friends house for another party.

5. We were running late to meet up with Lara's best friend from high school. We decided to go bowling since it was getting late and a bit cold outside. We had orginally planned to go out to the zoo but that didn't work out. We had a long wait when we arrived but had a good time overall. Lara won the 1st game!

6. We headed over to Renee's house for dinner. She made tacos and we watched the kids play together. We had a very nice visit together and Frank joined up with us. We came home so Frank could write his talk for Sunday.

7. The next morning we headed over to church and arrived a few minutes late. Frankie is always dragging his feet. My car was still in the shop so I had Lara drive us over. Frank gave a wonderful talk about receiving spiritual guidance. Lara ended up watching Savannah for me the rest of church.

8. Lara went back over to her friend's house for a quick visit and than joined us for FHE. Sarah made brownies for dessert.

9. Sarah is home on spring break this week. She attended seminary today and will be go the rest of the week. She is such a good girl!

10. Savannah, Sarah and Lara are going to hang out today and possibly go out. Renee's son has a high fever and will be taking him to the doctor. I have to work and than we will join them afterwards to go to get some ice cream @ Colonial's.

Ten for Tuesday

1. Friday night Frankie went over to his mother's house for the weekend. I spent the time off cleaning my house and doing laundry.

2. On Saturday morning I worked overtime and than headed out to lunch with a friend. She was running late so I ordered our food and it was ready as soon as she arrived. She was watching my daughter and brought along another little friend whom she was babysitting for.

3. I went shopping at Kohl's and purchased some new clothes and than headed home. I had to get ready to go out for that evening.

4. I went to dinner for my birthday to Chili's. The restaurant was packed and I was still full from lunch so I just ordered an appetizer and soup. They sang Happy Birthday to me and Frank purchased me some really nice perfume. I received a box of chocolates and some nice cards from his family.

5. I headed over to the Allstate Arena for the Chicago Wolves game. The game started off poorly but we ended up coming from behind and won the game 6 to 3. The hockey game was good but I missed half the action because I was watching the baby. Savannah did great although she cried everytime the loud fireworks went off. She managed to take a 30 minute nap and Frank had the arena wish me a Happy Birthday on the Jumbo Tron but apparently we missed it. O'well it was the thought that counts!

6. Afterwards we drove home seperately and Frank decided to stop by the store to pick up a nice cake and flowers for me. He sang Happy Birthday to me and we enjoyed some Strawberry cake together. It was a great birthday and I'm looking forward to a great year!

7. We had ward council on Sunday. Afterwards I had a presidency meeting on Sunday with the stake counsel.

8. We were invited over for a game night that same evening and played Apples to Apples. It was nice to get to know some new friends and fellowshipped a less active family in the ward.

9. Savannah is cutting a new tooth and was up all night. She has been feeling miserable and more cranky lately.

10. Frankie is home this week on spring break. He has been watching Savannah for us. He has recently been given a PSP and has been playing with his new toy. We are looking forward to Lara's visit on Friday.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well I survived 33 and just turned another year older this past weekend. I should have taken the dayoff for my birthday but instead I went into work for four hours of overtime. Afterwards I headed over to La Magdalena's for lunch with my best friend Wendy. She was watching a little girl named Mady whom she brought along with her and Savannah. We had a nice visit and than we decided to go shopping at Kohl's. I was able to purchase some new clothes thanks to my mom and dad. I still have to spend grandma's money. I'm waiting for a new cd to come out tomorrow. After we were done shopping I ran home quickly to changed Savannah. Frank dressed her and wasn't dressed warm enough for a hockey game. I was running late for dinner but I figured it would be ok since I was the birthday girl. We were getting there early anyways to reserve a table. We went to Chili's for dinner with Frank's family. It was nearby to the Allstate Arena. It was crowded and Frank was running late to dinner. We enjoyed our dinner together and I was still full from lunch so I just ordered just some soup and an appetizer. Frank purchased me some perfume and a nice card. The employees of Chili's sang Happy Birthday to me and served me some ice cream. We were meeting a big group of people for the hockey game. We headed over to the Allstate Arena and found our seats. The game was good and the Chicago Wolves won after a very poor start. I missed most of game trying to tend to Savannah. Maybe next time we will leave her at home. She did a pretty good job seeing how she was up late. I was impressed that she took a nap in that loud stadium. Savannah cried everytime the fireworks went off. We left to come home and we had drove seperately. Frank stopped by the store without my knowledge and came back with a dozen long stemmed roses and a cake. He sang Happy Birthday to me and I blew out my candles. It ended up being a good birthday and I'm looking forward to a great year! (hopefully with less drama)

Ten for Tuesday

1. I took Friday off to run a couple of doctor appointments. I went in for another treatment down to the final 7. I immediately had to drive across town to get a muga scan. I told the guy drawing my blood that I have a tendency to pass out so he made me lay down. I'm glad that I was laying down because I started feeling lightheaded after he was finished.

2. The doctor wanted to test my heart function seeing how my echo came back borderline. They wanted to make sure that the chemotherapy did not damage my heart. I'm still awaiting my test results.

3. I wanted to pick up Sarah earlier than usual so I meet her mother at Walmart and drove her back home. I had her babysit Savannah for me while I went to the temple.

4. I went out for a quick bit to eat afterwards. It was nice to just have some quality time with my friends.

5. I ran errands on Saturday and cleaned the house. I ran down to the mall and purchased Frankie a new pair of jeans. I tried to wrap up any last minute items that I have needed to get done.

6. I let Frankie have a friend sleepover Saturday night. He was playing B Ball in the house and I told him to stop and of course he fought me on this and ended up breaking my Jesus statue. I was really upset with him.

7. I took Frankie to scouts and than I allowed him to play basketball afterwards. I must have been running late because he was the last kid to leave. I found him waiting outside with the leaders.

8. The kids went to a fireside and than Frank drove the kids back home. Sarah cooked dinner for us and it was very yummy!

9. Tonight I came home from work and Frankie told me last minute that he needed a black dress shirt for graduation pictures tomorrow. I had to run to the mall and did some last minute shopping. What is it with teenagers????

10. Looking forward to springtime

Ten for Tuesday

1. Savannah went in for her 9 mos doctor visit. She is still on the small side weighing in at 17 pounds. This must run in the family to have smaller babies. The doctors say she is advanced for her age group and will probably be walking soon. She is eating more table food now and climbing up on everything.

2. I had to work overtime on Saturday morning. I learned that some people from work didn't have to come in on because we were all caught up and running out of work. Can you believe that???I hope things pick up soon or they might start laying off people. I'm sure this is a result of everyone getting there income tax refunds and being on a dialer.

3. Afterwards I headed out to lunch at Rookies with some friends. We had a nice visit and I reunited with a previous manager that quit a few years ago.

4. I went shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond for a bridal shower gift. I was running late and had one of the girls at the store help me pick out my gift. They didn't have enough of what I was looking for on the shelf so she ran in the back to help me complete my gift. I love there gift wrapping station. This was my first time using this free service.

5. I went to the church and enjoyed my best friends bridal shower. It was a really nice time and the food was delicious. She flew in from Florida to celebrate with her friends back home. She is planning on getting married in Chicago where she is orginally from.

6. All weekend long our heat kept getting shut off due to a valve that had gone bad. We contacted the landlord and he had someone come out to fix it on Monday. I was freezing all weekend long.

7. Frankie went over to his mother house and arrived home late Sunday night. I was surprised he came home so late.

8. Savannah accidently fell down onto the cat and he scratched her face up yesterday. She was bleeding and Frank came home to take care of her and made sure she was ok. She looks like Chucky now. I hope her face will heal up nicely. I know it was an accident but one more incident with this cat and I may need to give him away. He has been really naughty lately!

9. I have been working an a special project the last couple of days at work and have been off the dialer. It is nice to have a break from constantly talking to customers.

10. I had a girls night out with two of my best friends and we went out to dinner at Portillos and than came back home for cake. It was nice to to have a night out by myself. Frank stayed home and watched Savannah for me and the two grandkids.

10 Months Old

Today my baby girl turned 10 months old. Frank took her in for her 9 month doctor visit this week . I'm not exactly sure where she is on the growth chart. Frank told me Savannah is still on the small side weighing in at 17 lbs. The doctor did recommend we start feeding her more green foods and add a little meat in her diet. Apparently her blood test results came back that her hemoglobin was on the low side. She is very active and continues to get into everything. We are still trying to teach her the words NO and STOP. She likes to pull all the cds, DVDs, and movies off the shelfs. She is going to be a real handful when she starts walking. She has recently started to climb onto the furniture. I was cleaning up the kitchen today and saw that she had climbed herself into the dishwasher. She likes to pull the silverware out of the basket in front of the dish washer. The doctor stated that Savannah is advanced and will be walking before most kids her own age. She truly is one of the greatest gifts from God. We are loving our little girl and looking forward to her 1st birthday! Sorry no photo this month my camera is not working.

Ten for Tuesday

1. I was happy to see that we finally got our income tax refund. I spent most of my weekend trying to catch up on bills.

2. On Friday Frank dropped Savannah off at the babysitters and I picked her up after work. There was a bad car accident and everyone was having to go around on a detour. I finally arrived at my destination and than I headed over to pick up Sarah.

3. On Saturday morning I cleaned the house and took the kids over to play basketball at the church. Sarah hates sports but wanted to go anyways to visit with her friends. She missed her game and just sat around listening to her Ipod.

4. I left to go and run a few errands. I came back to watch Frankie play in his 1st game ever. The team did great and even smoke the other team. I was proud of him everytime he made a shot. He didn't get the ball much but he played hard. They are headed to the championship game next week. Unforunately he will be gone this weekend.

5. I came back from doing some grocery shopping with Sarah. I told the kids to come along and get in the car. Frankie was dragging his feet so I just left him at the church. I thought he would call me right away but he didn't. About an hour and a half later I received several missed calls on my cellphone telling me to come pick him up. I came back to get him. I later learned he lost his house key in the church and that is why he didn't come out right away. He was locked out of the church for over an hour in only a hoodie and some shorts. Someone from within the church finally let him back in and he was able to call me. I do feel bad seeing how he was stuck outside that whole time freezing to death. Maybe next time he will come when I call him.

6. Frank came home and we went out on a date night. We tried a new restaurant called Yu's Mandarin. It was really good food although they were super busy and I didn't like the long wait for our food.

7. Frank woke up early on Sunday morning with a terrible stomach ache and he missed church. Frankie was ordained to be teacher.

8. Frankie and his Dad watched the Olympic hockey game on TV. It was sad to see the US lose to Canada.

9. On Monday morning I woke up feeling very nauseas. I started to feel better once I got up and started to move around house. I had just showered and started to make my lunch for work when I had to run the the bathroom to throw up. I called in sick needless to say. I spent the whole time just resting. Thanks hun for sharing your stomach virus!

10. Sarah had yesterday off school for Kasmir Polaski day. Frankie was the only one to made it out of the house. Frank stayed home sick along with me.
