Ten for Tuesday

1. The kids stayed with us all week long for spring break. Frank picked them up for Tuesday night activites. I picked them up after work and the kids entertained themselves the rest of the week.

2. By Friday night Sarah and Frankie were getting on each others nerves and started fighting when I came home on Friday. Just sibling rivalry! I was in no mood to break up any fights. I guess it's not good to keep them locked up together all week long.

3. I drove Sarah over to her friends house for a sleepover and was supposed to pick up Frankie's friend on my way back home. I called the mother of the boy and discovered that the boy scouts had a fundraiser to earn money for scout camp the following morning.

4. I decided to switch the date of the sleepover till Saturday night. I just drove home empty handed. I was a little upset that I wasted my time and gas to drive out there.

5. I woke up early the next day and drove Frankie for the fundraiser and I had arranged to have his friends mother pick him up and sleepover at there house. It turned out to be a good thing. The boys worked most of the day and earned a bunch of money.

6. I came home and just relaxed and took care of some unfinished business. I cleaned the house and finished my thank you cards for my baby shower. I loved just having a quiet day to myself.

7. I called AT&T to dispute a bill that I shouldn't be responsible for. They set up a seperate account for some internet service that I cancelled right after I moved to Schaumburg and are now billing me. I never had the service and am trying to get the charges reversed off my account. I recently found out that they are now charging me a termination fee which is just ludacris! I'm so fed up with this company and will cancel service if they don't fix this problem soon.

8. Frank had some co workers come over on Saturday night to help them write up some business online.

9. We received a snow storm on Saturday night. We woke up to several inches of snow on the ground and now it has all melted off. It rained all day today and I hope that was the last of old man winter.

10. Happy Birthday Sarah! I hope you had a wonderful day

Amy's Birthday Celebration

Frank took me out to dinner to TGIF's to celebrate my special day! Invited several of my friends however only 2 people could join us. We had delicious food and enjoyed the great atmoshpere. Our waiter was really nice and friendly. Frank purchased me an I Pod Nano. My friend Heather gave me a new journal and a digital picture keychain. Frank had purchased me a strawberry birthday cake and the gang at Fridays sang Happy Birthday to me.

Ten for Tuesday

1. I had my doctor's appointment and the doctor was running late so I had to wait a long time to get in. Of course I was the last appointment of the day. I thought it was pretty cool to hear both mine and the babies heartbeat this time. The doctor just mostly talked to me and answered some of my questions and concerns about the delivery. I sent in my pre registration form to the hospital.

2. The kids came over this weekend and Sarah's school band made it to state this year. She was totally excited because this is the first time her school has won in a very long time.

3. Frank went to pick up the kids late on Friday night because of Sarah's band thing. They didn't get into about midnight which concerned me. I guess they stopped at the store to do a little shopping. The kids will be coming over for spring break next week.

4. I couldn't sleep in on Saturday morning so I ended up doing some light house cleaning and than went to run a few errands. The kids woke up just as I was walking out the door. I ended up taking Sarah along with me. Frankie chose not to go with me to get an oil change. I don't blame him!

5. Frank's family threw me a wonderful baby shower at the ward building. We had great appetizers and cake. I ended up having a great turn out. I received a bunch of gifts which mostly consisted of clothes. I still need to get some more bottles and pacifiers, etc...

6. Afterwards I used the money I received from the baby shower and went and purchased a new stoller and car seat at Babies R Us. I went and purchased a few new tops today due to the warmer weather.

7. I was totally exhausted afterwards so I came home and just relaxed.

8. I received several more gifts at church the next day and several apologies from people that couldn't make it to my baby shower. I was really touched at the outpooring of gifts and well wishes I received. It really makes me feel loved to see how many people really care about me.

9. I came home and cooked a nice dinner and put some of the gifts away from the shower. I'm hoping to get the dresser I saw at IKEA soon so I have a place to store the rest of baby stuff.

10. The weather has been gorgeous outside lately. It feels like spring has already arrived. My birthday is on Friday and I can't believe I will be turning 33 years old this year.

Baby Shower

Frank's family and my best friend Wendy threw me a baby shower on March 14th. We held it at the Elgin ward building in the Relief Society room. We had a great turn out. We were starting to run out of room towards the end of the shower. I had a few people cancel at the last minute which actually turned out to be a good thing. I don't know where I was going to sit everyone. We had great refreshments and cake. It was just enough food to cover the party. We played baby bingo and I opened up the shower gifts. I received a bunch of clothes for the baby. I was very grateful for all the gifts I received and hope to get the remaining items on my list within the next few weeks. I went and purchased a stoller and car seat using the money I received from the party.

Ten for the Week

1. On my 30th week ultrasound the doctor told me that some of the babies bone measurements were reading on the smaller side. The doctor recommended that I go to the hospital for a level 2 ultrasound to make sure the baby was fine. I went to the appointment and they told me that pretty much the same thing. The average sized baby measures in the 6th percentile range and my baby was at a 5. The doctors think the baby is smaller in size based on genetics. She is healthy and normal and things are moving along smoothly.

2. Frank left on Tuesday for the WFG convention in Los Angeles. He left for four days. He had a great time and enjoyed the motivational speakers. He learned a lot and came back all charged up and ready to go back to work.

3. I enjoyed my peace and quiet all week long although I started to get lonely towards the end of the week. I wanted to take advantage of the quiet moments I shared with myself. I'm soaking up all the freedom I can before the baby comes along.

4. My friends Mike and Heather came over and we went out to dinner to a new Mexican restaurant. Afterwards we rented the movie Eagle Eye and went back to my place to watch the movie. It was a good movie but I was so tired from my wprk week that I fell asleep half way through the movie. I woke up to some pain in my lower back and thigh area. I was a bit concerned about the pain at first. It started to feel better once I started walking around. I was nervous about not having my husband around however my friends offered to come to my rescue if the pain started to get worse.

5. My pregnancy has started to become more difficult for me since I started my 8th month of pregnancy. I'm feeling more tired, more aches and pains. My belly is starting to fill in more and becoming more solid. I love watching my belly move around and I'm feeling the baby so much now which is exciting for me. Just this week I felt the baby drop down a little bit. I'm definately feeling more pressure on my bladder. My friends tell me that I'm waddling more now.

6. On Saturday I worked in the morning and than my friend Wendy came over and spent the day with me to keep me company. We went out to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Afterwards we headed over to Ikea and I found a dresser that I wanted to use for the baby and can also use it as a changing table. It is a four drawer dresser in the color white. I will have to go back with Frank to actually pick it up. My mom is bringing up a crib and two slightly used car seats that she obtained from a church friend in April. Afterwards we stopped and picked up some ice cream and made homemade brownies. We played a few board games and just visited with each other.

7. I fell asleep for a couple of hours and than Frank had called me and I had to pick him up from the airport @ 1am. It was down pouring rain outside and when I arrived at the airport I thought that I had left my cellphone @ home and I couldn't find Frank outside. Apparently I missed several calls from him. I eventually found my phone at the bottom of my purse and called and eventually met up with him. I was circling the airport for about 20 minutes until I saw him. To make matters worse we lost on hour of sleep and Frank and I stayed up just talking until about 4am. I was quite tired the next day at church. Frank and I just rested the remainder of the day.

8. On Monday night Frank had an emergency base shop meeting to discuss the convention. He had a great turn out and they covered information they learned in LA. The people who went to LA shared their experiences with the others in the group.

9. I'm getting ready for my baby shower this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing what I may be getting to help me prepare for the new arrival.

10. We received our state refund this week and hope to see our federal tax refund soon.

Ten for Tuesday

1. My internet service has been down for several weeks. The USB adapater was not functioning properly and needed to be replaced. AT&T gave us a credit on our bill and now the computer works great. Finally!

2. Last week a portion of my molar broke off while I was eating lunch. I went to see the dentist and he advised me that my crown had broken off. I didn't even realize there was a crown on this particular tooth. He put on a temporary crown and told me to come back once the baby is born and he will give me a permanent crown. I hope this crown will last for the next two months.

3. The kids came over last weekend and Sarah had a friend sleepover Friday night. The girls stayed up all night and watched movies.

4. I took the kids to the park the very next day although it was cold outside. We didn't stay too long. I did take some pictures of the kids and than came home.

5. On Saturday night I went to Target with the girls to pick up a birthday gift. The girls went to the bathroom and lost me in the store. I just waited by the front door and until they found me. Frank asked me to come up to Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards to see on old friend who was visiting from Indiana.

6. Afterwards Frank and I took the girls to a Shaklee party. Frank gave me bad directions and we went the wrong way. We ended up being 40 minutes late to the party. He argued with me the whole time in the car and refused to listen to me. Why do guys always think they are always right?

7. My friend was having a surprise birthday party for our friend Heather at the WFG office. We were late showing up to the karoke party. Sortly after we arrived the party ended and we just went home.

8. Sarah was invited out with my friends to go mini golfing after the party. I decided to just go home and relax. She had a great time!

9. Sarah was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Mia Maid class. This is first calling at church and seemed to be excited about the news.

10. We attended a eagle court of honor for a young man in our ward. He left for his
mission this week to Chile. Frankie participated in the ceremony.

11. Frankie made the honor roll this quater at school. We are very proud of him!
