Crazy Day

Frank and I have been trying tlo have another baby for quite some time. We tried last month and I didn't feel anything happen and when my period came on Thursday I just thought it hadn't workhis is usually the amount of time it would take to have my period leave however when I woke up this morning I had a lot of menstrual cramping and back pain. I thought I was just experiencing a heavy period which seemed very odd. It continued to happen all morning. I started freaking out so I called my doctor and they rushed me in. I called in sick at work. I called my best friend Wendy and husband. My friend came over to pick up Savannah. I woke up Sarah and drove me to the doctor's office. I was feeling weak and tired. My doctor was on call and was called into the hospital for a delivery. They gave me an internal ultrasound, blood work, physical exam. I took a pregnancy test to see if I was preganent and it was positive. It was determined at this point that I was having a miscarriage. The doctor determined that I didn't need a DNC. I will gave to come back in for some more blood work in a week. I will be in California and may need to reschedule. I was overwhelmed with the thought that I was preganent and lost it at the same time. I will continue to try. It hard to say why it didn't work out. Possibly because of my age, affects of chemo or just not meant to be. I will visit the doctor to discuss everything again in two months.
