Ten on Thursday

1. I took last Friday off from work to run several doctor appointments. I went in for a mammography and ended up getting an ultrasound as well. I was running late for my second appointment. I had my Herception treatment and than went home. It was a full day of doctors. The doctor did say that my test results looked good. I will go back in 6 months to do it all over again. I have eight more treatments to go.

2. I came home and relieved Frankie from his babysitting duties. He had a good time at his mother's house.

3. My friend Wendy came over to sleepover and watch Savannah for me the very next morning. I changed Savannah's diaper on Frankie's bed and I didn't put her diaper back on immediately and she accidently peed on his bed. Luckily I had a waterproof pad underneath his sheets. I had to wash the bedding so that my friend could borrow his bed.

4. I work my overtime as usual and my friend Wendy had taken Savannah over to a friends house with her. She kept her the whole rest of the day. It was nice to have the next five hours off. I forgot what that felt like to have time to myself. I managed to get a ton of things done.

5. I called Comed to straigthen out several different issues I was having with my account. Apparently I had been paying Frank's business account instead of my own online. He recently added himself to my online billpay system and I kept paying his office bill. I wondered why they kept telling me that I hadn't made a pymt since Dec 15???? I now have a past due balance. I'm expecting our income tax refund tomorrow so I will get that paid immediately.

6. The cat managed to either spray or peed on some baby books that I was storing underneath the baby's crib. The house stunk like mad...I was very upset that Cody did this and I'm not sure why but I have since than cleaned up what I could. I need to go to the pet store to try get some more spray to take away the smell. I'm upset that my brand new books were ruined. I tried to salvage what I could. I hope he doesn't do it again otherwise we might have to trade him in for another cat. I know we neutered him so why is he doing this??? Any thoughts

7. I took Frankie to Scouts on Wednesday evening. They played laser tag outside while it started to downpour snow. The boys came back inside all wet. Afterwards they played a quick game of basketball. I ran down to the store to pick up some more baby food and cat litter.

8. We had stake conference on Sunday. I really enjoyed the talk about Marriage and what you should and shouldn't be doing. I picked up some great food for thought.

9. Frank couldn't watch Savannah for me on Monday & Wednesday so I dropped her off at the babysitters. She seemed to really enjoy playing with the little kids. She didn't want to leave and was very sad. She is cutting 4 teeth this month and the fifth one shortly on it's way.

10. Frank has been working like a dog lately and I haven't seen him all week long. I hope he is making lots of money.

Eleven on Thursday

1. Happy 30th Birthday to my two favorite cousins Terri & Kerri. Hope you had a great day!

2. Savannah continues to eat the cat food and play in the cats water dish every day. I hope she grows out of this phase soon. She is so cute when she sticks her tongue out all the time. I will try to get some video clips. She looks so adorable! She is now cutting three new teeth all at the same time. This makes for a total of 4 teeth all in the same month. Wow!!!

3. On Friday night I drove out to Wonder Lake to pick up Sarah from her mother's house. When I drove about half away there I received a call from her stepfather telling me to just turn around and go back home because she was sick. I was totally bummed that I wasted my time and gas.

4. The next day I took Frankie to the mall and he did some window shopping for some new gym shoes. We really didn't find anything in MY price range so we left. He had about $30 burning a hold in his pocket so we went and purchased him an expensive baseball cap. We spent a long time at the mall and I was very tired and more than ready to leave. Frankie is the most undesisive kid that I know.

5. I had to run to the store to pick up a cake mix, ice cream and soda for the family party we were having for Frankie on Sunday.

6. I had to meet Joy halfway to pick up Sarah who was apparently feeling better from her illness. The kids had a Valentine's Day dance at the church. This was Frankie's 1st dance ever and was very excited. Apparently their was carpooling at the church so I ran the kids on over. Frankie told me that he didn't like any girls and wasn't going to ask anyone to dance. He did say however that he would dance with any girl who asked him...you know just being a nice guy. The kids both came back home all smiles and apparently Frankie danced with 17 different girls. He must be popular with the ladies. He was already asking me how often they have church dances. The kids must be adored by many people. I will have to keep a leash on them both.

7. Frank and I celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday evening. We had reservations at a nice Mexican restaurant and had not waiting. We actually arrived 15 minutes early and had a nice dinner. At one point during the dinner Savannah was choking on a chip that we had given to her. Oops maybe not a great idea after all! She survived the whole ordeal and the waitress even came over to make sure she was ok. Frankie purchased me a dozen long stemmed red roses and a nice card and Sarah got a fancy cupcake. Poor Frankie felt left out.

8. I thought someone stole my daughter tonight. I will share the whole story later.

9. Frank treated me and Frankie out to dinner tonight to a chinese restaurant.

10. We have enjoyed watching the winter olympics. Go USA!!!

11. On Sunday I had decided to drive to church seperately with the kids. I had a presidency meeting and one of the sisters is expecting her 1st baby girl in March. I decided last minute to put together a gift bag for her. We were supposed to have a mini baby shower for her since she was refusing to have a real baby shower. We arrived to church late...oops! After church the Primary president wasn't feeling good and cancelled our meeting. I came back home and made the birthday cake for Frankie and than all the family came over for party #2. We ended up babysitting Sabrina's kids so that they could go out for a date night.

9 Months Old

Smile for the Camera

Savannah just turned 9 months old and is finally starting to cut her 1st tooth. She has been more crabby and clingy lately. She now has more than one speed to crawling. The other day I was changing her diaper and she turned over and took off crawling and laughing. She must think she is pretty funny. Her new game is catch me if you can. Sorry about the pictures...She is always closing her eyes with the flash and I haven't learned how to turn it off on my new camera.

Ten for the Week

1. Savannah just turned 9 mos old and is getting so big. She is crawling all around the house and we are looking forward to her walking. Her tooth and still trying to come through. I will include pictures when it comes out.

2. We watched the Super Bowl on Sunday evening just by ourselves. I was really tired and just wanted to relax. I'm happt to see that Saints win their 1st Super Bowl. Frankie had a good weekend with his mother.

3. We had a snow storm last night and I was worried about school being cancelled. I was able to get Frankie on the school bus on time. We ended up having a jeans day at work.

4. Apparently we slept through an earthquake this morning. The quake happened at 4am in my old neighborhood.

5. Savannah started saying the word "Mama". I was very delighted to hear my name.

6. I stopped at the grocery store this evening and when I went to check out I realized Frank had my debit card with him and I wasn't able to pay for my food. I ended up having the clerk hold my groceries while I ran to the bank to pull out some cash. I was totally embarrassed.

7. Frank is coming down with a cold. I hope we all don't get sick again.

8. I was assigned a visiting teaching partner this week. The sister they teamed me up with has recently stopped coming to church so I may be doing this alone.

9. I ran out of things to say...maybe next week will be more exciting.

10. Have a great week everyone!

Ten for the Week

1. This week has been another busy week for our family. I'm just now getting a chance to write my ten for the week.

2. The groundhog saw his shadow this week another 6 weeks of winter...yippee!

3. Frankie turned 14 years old this week and we took him out to dinner to Chili's. Afterwards we came back home and had a piece of his giant chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. I failed to make him a cake this year. He is not a big fan of cake and I thought I would just do something different for his party. It was only Frank and I and Savannah went to bed before the party begun.

4. I had to make three dozen sugar cookies for the Primary activity on Friday evening. I was up late needless to say making cookies.

5. The next day I came home from work and was waiting for the babysitter to arrive so I could leave for my Primary activity. She was running late and Frankie was leaving to go over to his mother's house. I ended up arriving about 30 minutes late to the church. I helped decorate the Valentine Day cookies with the kids. I was very disappointed that all my hard work was for nothing. Apparently they had too many cookies and I had to bring them all home again with me. I wish I would have known that ahead of time before I wasted my time. Frank was grateful he gets to eat them all.

6. My friend Wendy spent the night on Friday evening and than I went in for overtime today and she helped watch Savannah for me. She was a great babysitter and will be helping me out on the weekends that I have to work my overtime hours.

7. I went through and cleaned out Savannah's closet and drawers today. I took down the clothes that she has outgrown and put them away. I spent most of the day cleaning and dealing with a fuzzy kid.

8. Savannah got her 1st tooth this week. The tooth is still trying to cut through her gum...Needless to say she has been more cranky & clingy this week.

9. Our friend Mike came over tonight to watch the movie " The Invention fo Lying". It seems to be a very strange movie. Would not recommend!

10. Looking forward to filing our taxes soon....
