Ten for Tuesday

1. Sarah came over this weekend for a visit. Frank surprised me and actually went out to pick her up. Our babysitter failed to show up and Frank was stuck babysitting Savannah all day long. He didn't have a very busy day and picked Sarah up early. It was a nice break!

2. Frank and I wanted to take the kids out to dinner and out to play glow in the dark mini golf. We ate dinner at Old Country Buffet and than headed over to Walmart. Frank purchased the new Black Eyed cd and quickly returned it when he found out that it had swearing in the 1st song. He wants to file a complaint with the manager. Since when do they sell non edited cd's??? Frankie came away with a skateboard, Sarah got The Last Song book and I was going to get a new camera but they were all sold out of the one that I liked.

3. We headed over to Meijer's and they didn't have much of a selection in cameras. We left shortly afterwards. It was getting late by this time so we ended up not going out to play golf.

4. The next morning Frank came down sick with a sore throat so he called in sick to work. I cleaned the house and than took him to the doctor. We will get the results back from his strep test in a few days. He mostly slept all weekend long.

5. Sarah and I took the baby and ran a bunch of other errands and I took my car into vaccum it out. Frank came home and watched 2012 with the kids.

6. Frank stayed home from church and Frankie joined him since he wasn't feeling good because of his allergies. It was just a quiet relaxing day with my two girls. Afterwards we had a camp meeting that I had to attend to sign up Sarah for her 4th year at camp.

7. We ended up having a couple from church come over to join us for dinner. I cooked a nice roast and burnt the rolls. It was kinda a disaster but I made due. We played Apples to Apples afterwards.

8. I'm currently in the process of looking for a new babysitter for Savannah.

9. I ran out of things to say for now....

10. Have a great week everyone!

Naughty Baby

Look what my new trick is???
To make matters worse she was sticking her hand in her mouth afterwards

Luckily I just finished cleaning the toilet bowl...Yuck!!!

Ten for the Week

1. This year Easter was pretty quiet for our family. We normally get together with Frank's family for a nice dinner and Easter Egg hunt but this year we didn't get together.

2. We had invited some friend's over to dinner on Sunday along with Sabrina and her family. They all cancelled on us at the last minute. We went to General Conference and enjoyed the conference talks.

3. After church we had our friend Mike come over to eat dinner with us and he stayed for awhile.

4. Frankie went over to his mother's house this weekend. I spent my weekend cleaning the house and running my errands.

5. I took Frankie to Scouts on Wednesday night and right before he left his nebulizer went out and I had to try to get a replacement or an inhaler that same night. I had no luck! Luckily he didn't have an asthma attack. I was fortunate enough to had found an inhaler at the house. I will have to take him to doctor see him so I can get the replacement for the nebulizer and some more inhalers.

6. I put together some nice Easter baskets for the kids and I made some rice krispy treat eggs and decorated them. I was hoping to do it with the kids. We didn't have time so I did them all alone.

7. Frank has been working many hours and we haven't seen him too much lately.

8. We are excited for the Rowland family and their latest addition to our family. He is beautiful and we can't wait to meet the little guy.

9. My car was in the shop all week long. I had the check engine light on and it turns out that the EGR value was dirty and needed to be cleaned off and the transmission was acting up. I thought that I needed to replace the transmission and I was totally stressed out over the whole situation. It turns out that the computer system needed to be reset and now it works perfect. What a relief that whole ordeal ended costing me a few hundred dollars just for labor.

10. I was approved my vacation and will be heading down to Arkansas in May for Savannah's 1st birthday and will be attending a WFG convention with Frank in Memphis, TN the weekend before we get to Lara's house. I'm looking forward to seeing how the kids get along. I will be down there to visit with Craig and his family.

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter and 11 Months Old Today

My baby girl turned 11 months old today. She is becoming a handful and is constantly getting into things. She is a very special little girl and I treasure every waking moment with her. She still only has 4 teeth although she may be cutting a new one soon because her fingers are always in her mouth at night when she wakes up crying. She is a great sleeper except for when her teeth are bothering her. She is still in the crawling phase and walks around holding onto the furniture.
She seems to be eating less of the baby food and more of the regular foods now. She always has to sit with us at the dinner table and is trying to eat everything. For Easter this year I made Rice Krispie Treat Eggs and dipped them in chocolate and sprinkles. I made Easter baskets for the kids and now spending a quiet Sunday with my family.
