HOORAY! School finally starts tomorrow and I couldn't be more happier. I messed up the start date for Frankie and unforunately am not very prepared. I still need to purchase school supplies. The kids both start very early this year but will get out before everyone else.
Frank has been very busy working on the buildout at the office. We all went down yesterday to help push the process along. All that is left is a little more sanding of the walls, trim and based boards, and painting...We also need to clean the carpets once everything is dusted off. This is an expansion on the current office space. I'm proud of my husband! He is an amateur and did a great job. This will be a nice addition and some extra income coming in.
Sarah babysat for her mother on Friday night and than helped a friend move on Saturday. I stopped off at the park and let Savannah play for a little while. There was this one little kid who kept throwing water at her and was a bully some other kids at the park. He couldn't have been more than 5 years old but was pretty naughty. I yelled at the kid once when I saw Savannah running away from him as he splashed her with a cup of water. The second time it happened a pregnant mother got up out of her seat and started yelling at this kid and made him come over to apologize to her. I was happy she came to my rescue. She caught him doing it before I had a chance to look up. He started making Savannah cry and after it was all said and done he didn't even want to apologize. What a little brat! He eventually came over to say he was sorry.
Afterwards we headed over to the office to help Frank on the office buildout. Sarah was scheduled to get her Patriachal blessing. The blessing was really long and one part scared her but all the rest of it was very good.
Frankie is all signed up for seminary again this year. Last two years were horrible and I don't predict this year will be any different. He has received no credit or recognition since he has started seminary...How embarrassing! He pretty much doesn't do anything and refuses to go so it is a major battle on a daily basis. Frank bless his heart keeps pushing him to go every year.
The kids just came back from High Adventure. Frankie said it was torture for teenage boys and Sarah loved it! I'm glad we made them both go to camp this year. Frankie went to Isle Royale and Sarah went up to Boundry Waters. They both went on the same week and it was the best week of summer for me. It was so nice and tranquail!
I went in for my temple recommend interview and still need to get one more signature from the stake president.
