1. I went in for my third chemo treatment. This time was a little harder on my body and took me longer to recover. I had a good appointment and all went smoothly. This time I didn't have as much help and I overwhelmed myself. I will rely more on the church members to help me out next time.
2. Savannah went in for her 2 month doctor appointment. Her visit went well with the doctor. She weighed in at 10 lbs 10 oz and is now 23 inches long. She is in the 50percentile for weight and 75% for height. She must take after her mommy.
3. Frank and I invited Sabrina and the kids over to celebrate Elena's 3rd birthday. My husband cooked his homemade Italian gravy. While he was cooking dinner the rest of us went swimming. It was fun to take the grandkids to the pool. Sarah had made a birthday cake for her neice and she had a really neat birthday candle in the shape of a flower that opens up and sings Happy Birthday. The petals had candles on them and the middle section had a sparkler going off. It was pretty cool!
4. I realized Girls Camp doesn't start until next week. I will have to keep Sarah for an extra week of summer fun.
5. This summer has been just perfect and not too hot. One of the coolest summers thus far.
6. I helped Heather return a bunch of items from the wedding that she didn't either want or need. She took a load over to Wings to donate.
7. On Monday the kids and I headed over to a friends house for a day of swimming. I was brave enough to take off my hat and went for a little swim. It felt good to go under the water and truly cool off. My baby girl and I hung out in the pool and she really enjoyed the water. She just sat in her float and swam around.
8. Frankie managed to get his shirt stolen from the pool. I think someone accidently picked it up since he just layed it down on some random table.
9. We met a new family at church and I took the kids over to play video games and Sarah learned quiliing and had a free piano lesson.
10. I took the baby into work to show her off. It was really good to see everyone again! I'm looking forward to getting back to work around Christmas time.
