Ten for Tuesday

1. I came down ill with an upper respitory infection and had to call in sick to work on Monday and Tuesday. I went to the doctor on Monday and he prescribed me some antibiotics.

2. I managed to get back to work on Wednesday for a half day. We got to leave at 1pm due to the fact that it was New Year's Eve. I wanted to make it into work so that I could get paid for the holiday on Thursday.

3. On New Year's Eve our plans were cancelled last minute due to Frank's brother in law Tim being hit in the eye with a stick. He needed time to recover from his injury. Frank and I just spent a quiet evening at home and invited a couple of friends to watch the Dick Clark's New Year's Eve special on TV. I was starting to fall asleep early.

4. I slept in the following morning until noon and than I went shopping at the mall. I had some Christmas money that I was looking forward to spending. I purchased a new purse. I was having trouble finding other items on my Christmas list so I just left. I was getting tired fast and needed to get off my feet.

5. On Thursday evening Frank had his annual planning session for his WFG team. We had a potluck dinner and about 15 people squeezed into our 2 bedroom condo. It was a tight fit although it was still fun to visit with people.

6. I purchased a food processor and I attempted to make some homemade salsa. It turned out pretty good although I'm still trying to perfect the recipe. It's much harder trying to do it without a recipe.

7. On Saturday night we invited a few friends over for 3 card poker night. We had a great time!

8. My belly must of grown over Christmas vacatio because everywhere I go now everyone kepts staring at my belly. I guess I'm offically starting to show and now everyone is making comments about how big I am. I feel as if I'm being stretched out all over. My back muscles have begun to feel really tight this week. Everyone wants to feel the baby. I forgot to mentioned that Frank, Jenny, and Barbara felt their newest family member kicking.

9. on Sunday Frank and I were both released from our Primary calling. We served faithfully for 2 1/2 years teaching the 9 years old class. We loved all of our classes over the years. We were sad to leave Primary. The bishopric told us they have something else in the works for us. Frank and I taught the 11/12 year old girls class one last time.

10. I looked forward to watching all the season premieres on TV this week.
