We started off the day with the 4th of July parade in Elgin. Savannah loved seeing all the different floats, dance groups, gymnastic groups and all the candy. She has always been fearless and would walk right up to the people and ask them for some candy. She loved dancing to the music and would even clap for each good performance. Afterwards we went to a friends house for a BBQ. We managed to come back home and Frank mowed the lawn and I stopped over at Auntie Denise's house to help her pack. She has to move out in the next couple of days. I rushed home for a small BBQ at our house with the Korbel's. We quickly ran over to the Sears Center for the fireworks show. The kids were looking forward to attending the carnival tonight but we simply didn't have enough time. We will go back on Saturday night to enjoy the rest of the festivities. It was a great show this year and the girls had a great time together.
