Party Time

Savannah was invited over to her best friend's birthday party. It was a circus themed party. The family has three young girls and the party was to celebrate all three of them. Savannah had a blast at the party. They had a dunk tank, bounce house, and several other circus games. They hired a clown to come over and she did face paintings, balloon artistry and performed a magic trick. Lots of prizes and candy were handed out. The parents of the small children went all out this year and had great food and decorations. The party went way over schedule but it was fun and we stayed all the way to the bitter end.

Randall Oaks Park

Today I did some visiting teaching at the Randall Oaks Park. The kids towed along and Savannah took the opportunity to ride the ponies and jump in the bounce house. She played in the park and we enjoyed a lite lunch with some good friends and played in the sandbox.

Day at the Brookfield Zoo

We were invited to go to the Brookfield Zoo with some friends. It was a very hot day outside but we tried to make the most out of our time there. It was a pretty leisurely day and the kids had a blast. We didn't get to see all the exhibits and may try to return next week. My maternity leave is up in less than two weeks.

Woodstock Farmer's Market

Today we joined a few friends from church and headed over to the Woodstock farmer's market. It was quite a hot day outside and we were all dying from the heat. We purchased some fresh raspberries and honey. Savannah came home with a few animal balloons.
