Ten for the Week

1. Frankie had the week off for Thanksgiving break. Frank's father is back in the dating field and met a wonderful woman named Sheila. We had been invited over to her home for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great holiday!

2. Thanksgiving evening Sarah and I went Black Friday shopping with our family members. We survived the madhouse at Walmart and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year. I know I must be nuts to venture out again. I hated the crowds but love all those bargains.

3. The very next day I was feeling the holiday spirit and was looking forward to setting up for Christmas. I was thrilled to set up my new house. Savannah really enjoyed helping get out all the decorations and playing with all the ornaments. She couldn't keep her hands off of the Christmas tree. I haven't taken time out to purchase the stuff to put up a real Christmas tree and due to lack of space I decided to put up my 4ft Christmas tree. It may be small but I'm happy how it turned out.

4. Savannah and I decorated the front porch with Christmas lights. I love the fact that I have several bushes and a

tree to decorate in the front yard and the two porches. I have the best yard to decorate!!!

5. I learned this week that I won the contest amongst all the early collectors at work. This is my third consecutive month in a row. I have won a total of four times. I'm pretty proud of myself since I never win at anything normally. My hard work has been paying off and I have only improved at my job over the past 7 years.

6. Sarah joined us again this week for a weekend visit and her boyfriend Tony and his mother came over and they went to the mall for a couple of hours. It was nice to finally had a chance to meet her boyfriend. They orginally had plans to go down to Chicago for the day. Unforunately plans fell thru and it rained all day. I guess it worked out for the best.

7. Tonight Cody found a mouse and was holding it in his mouth. I saw him in the living room and freaked out of course. We tried to capture the mouse and was unsuccessful. Now I'm walking around on pins and needles. Unforunately the mouse got away and hide underneath the stove. Poor Savannah was afraid to go to sleep in her crib upstairs. I told her not to be scared of the mouse. I probably shouldn't have told her not to pick up the mouse otherwise it would bite her and give her rabies. lol!

8. Frank just told me last night that we have a squirrel living up in our attic. Great!!! My house must be a refuge for rodents during the winter months.

9. Frank was asked to give a baby blessing for my best friends baby. Her husband isn't a member of the church. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in attendance. I will have to leave my Primary class for a few minutes to attend the blessing.

10. We are looking forward to Auntie Jenny's arrival for Christmas break.
