New Kids Haircuts

Hunter received his first professional haircut. I wasn't sure how this was going to go over but I gave it a shot. He sat in my lap and enjoyed his sucker. He stayed relatively still for the most part. He didn't enjoy the hair buzzer. I made the lady go back and fix up the back some more. It will take mom some time getting used to the new hair cut. It does look better than the shaggy look was sporting before. My baby has always had some beautiful baby hair.

Savannah was being quite difficult during her haircut and I had to offer her a yummy bribe afterwards. I wanted to cut the length off of her hair. It hasn't been cut in a very long time. She was trying to grow it out like the Disney princess Rapunzel.  She never lets mom fix her hair in cute little pony tails. She looks better with short hair. I  convinced Savannah to cut is off since summer is right around the corner. She was rewarded with ice cream afterwards.

Savannah's first black eye

This week Savannah was playing outside on some gym equipment after school. She attends the YMCA after school program and tripped over her shoelace and fell down face first into some wood chips. The poor girl suffered a bump and bruise on her left eye.

Maui 2015

Waiting at  the Chicago airport getting ready to board the plane

Savannah is ready for take off in Los Angeles

We stayed at the Westin resort in Kaanapali. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and stayed right next to the beach.

Family photo once we arrived. Mom was still trying to shake off the cold weather. We had to check in at the Hyatt hotel

Savannah was able to attend the WFG welcome dinner. It was a catered dinner right next to the beach. It was a very late night and we ended up just eating and leaving afterwards for sleep.

Savannah enjoyed playing on the beach. The waves were pretty strong so she just played on the shoreline.

Savannah getting her feet wet and running away from the oncoming waves.

Mom relaxing by the poolside

Mom enjoying lunch at Relish

Frank joined us to go swimming at the pool

Savannah had a hard time with the time change. Unfortunately she didn't make it to dinner. The waiter let her sleep in a chair while we ate dinner. We were invited to eat dinner with the elite earners in the company.

Savannah is all ready for the pool. She was my little buddy on vacation.

We went to Whaler's Village for shopping and we ate at the Maui's Fish and Pasta restaurant.

Frank actually made an appearance at the beach

Mom was very proud of her sand crab
