Halloween Festivites

For family home evening we carved one large pumpkin together. We had a great time! Savannah actually joined in this year with cleaning out the pumpkin guts.
Savannah drew up the design and Daddy carved out the pumpkin.

The day of Halloween mom had to work the entire day. The babysitter took Hunter around the neighborhood for trick of treating. They visited safety town and walked back. In the morning it snowed for a few minutes pretty hard. The snow didn't stick around very long. The weather was bitter cold all day long. Savannah only had a half day of school. Daddy picked up her up from Kindergarten. He took her around the neighborhood and when I came home we went for round #2. It was so cold that I brought the kids back home after walking on foot. I took Savannah back out in the car. We stayed warmer however it was hard to get in and out of the vehicle for little Savannah.
She made out with a large stash of candy.

Fourteen Months Old

Hunter turned 14 months old back in August. My baby is growing up so fast. He is a fast crawler and loves to pull himself up and cruise around the furniture. He still isn't walking yet however he recently started pushing around a baby walking toy. I have hope it will happen soon. He is kinda lazy when it comes to walking. Apparently he is on his own schedule. He is such a happy baby when he isn't sick. He is such a good baby. He has a new babysitter and is adjusting well. He eats both table food and baby food. He takes good long naps everyday. He's still on the small side (mostly genetics). He is becoming more excited with his toys. I love all his facial expressions. We love you little buddy!

Five Years Old

Savannah turned five years old this year. She is such a joy and delight (most of the time). We are so blessed to have her in our home. Her behavior has much improved and models her life after her mom. She had an imaginary friend that she pretends to plays with. She started Kindergarten this year and loves going to school. She rides the school bus part time and attends the after school program with the YMCA. She has made several friends already. Her teacher is Mrs. Raab. I absolutely love hearing about her school day. She is learning so much everyday. I really enjoy watching her learn and grow. She is a great big sister to her little brother. She loves to help mom clean the house. She has started to watch over Hunter more. She is very protective of him. She loves playing dress up, Disney princesses, Barbie dolls, and Hello Kitty. She enjoys watching the Disney channel. She is constantly talking and can carry a conversation very well. She received her first yellow light at school because she was talking during quiet time. She loves to sing and perform for people. She enjoys playing board games with the family. She is full of life and energy. She recently had a little growth spurt. She is a very strong & confident little girl. There is very little she isn't afraid to do. Her favorite food is chicken nuggets. We love you so much!!
