Hunter recently came down sick again with bronchitis and an ear infection. Poor little guy has been so sick for the past few months. We had to postpone his 9 month wellness check up for another two weeks. Hunter weighs 16 lbs 14 oz. He is rolling all over the place and is grabbing onto everything in sight and putting it into his mouth. He babbles all the time and sits up really well on his own. He only likes to sit in his bouncer for short periods of time. He has started to try to get up on his knees. He has been introduced to meat baby foods. He is currently cutting four teeth all at the same time. The two canine teeth on top and the two bottom teeth in the middle. Needless to say he hasn't been sleeping very well with teething and being sick all at the same time. We love this little guy!!

9 Months Old
Time if flying by quickly. This little fellow just turned 9 months old this week and is growing up way too fast. He is such a great baby! Everyone tells me all the time how well behaved he is and a low maintenance baby.
He has become very good at sitting up on his own. He can roll over all by himself. He still isn't crawling around and doesn't seem to want to use his leg much when standing with assistance. I will need to try to help straighten those leg muscles. He currently weights 17 lbs 1 oz. He smiles all the time. He is cutting his first tooth on the bottom middle. His favorite baby food is sweet potatoes. We are so blessed to have this little guy in our home.

Family Bonding Time
Believe of Not - Hunter became an uncle at 3 months old. His nephew Nolan was born just a few months after him. I had the pleasure of taking care of this little guy. This was one a few moments that night that he was quiet and happy. Looking forward to these two growing up together.

Valentine Day Crafts and Chocolates
Savannah had a great time painting a Valentine Day picture frame and melting beads. She didn't have the patience to finish the project so mom jumped in. She kept refusing to have mom take any cute pictures of her only by her Aunt Denise. Here are a few of the pictures I manage to get of her.
We watched the winter Olympics opening ceremony on TV. The kids participated in making Valentine Day chocolates, suckers and chocolate covered pretzels. Savannah had a blast! It was a late night for everyone. Needless to say once we came home and I was too tired and didn't have the energy to fight her at bedtime. Apparently after I left the room Savannah managed to go to bed with one of these suckers after I told her not to do that. My stubborn daughter woke up the next morning to a melted chocolate sucker in her hair. It was a huge mess however it washed out easily. It took a couple of washes but life is back to normal.

Cute and Cuddly
One happy baby
Hunter is getting better at sitting up all by himself. A part of me wishes he was more mobile because he lays on his back way too much. On the other hand when he does start crawling I will probably wonder what I was thinking. I should just enjoy these simple moments.
Someone has discovered his own feet and even tries putting them in his mouth.
